Day 18 of 30 — Seeking God to Be Delivered from All Your Fears
Good morning, guys—welcome to day eighteen of the Thirty Day Prayer Challenge.
We’re believing God for big things—mighty things—in our lives, and we’re expecting it.
Today’s scripture is Psalm 34:4: “I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”
Hear me: when you seek God, the Bible promises He will deliver you—not from some fears, but all of them.
When you seek Him, you open a pathway for the Holy Spirit to saturate your life, move in power, and set you free.
Fear isn’t just a feeling—it’s bondage and torment. It enslaves.
Jesus invites us to lay down our fears.
And I know as men, we don’t like to admit we’re afraid—we want to be tougher than anything.
But let’s be real: we all have moments of fear. Even this week, I had a few moments—things outside my control.
In that moment, you turn it over to God: trust the Lord and believe His Word is true.
Seek the Lord. Call out to Him. Talk to Him. Have a real conversation with your Heavenly Father.
Why? Because He will hear you, and He will set you free from your fears.
Today’s Challenge
Name your fear.
Pray against that fear.
Write it down, or put it in your phone—just don’t keep it vague.
Call it out to the Lord—He already knows what’s in your heart.
Action Steps
Identify it clearly: “God, I’m afraid of ________.”
Bring it into the light: stop letting it stay hidden and unnamed.
Hand it over to God: “This is outside my control. I trust You.”
Pray directly against it: ask the Lord to deliver you and replace fear with His peace.
Repeat if needed: every time fear tries to come back, bring it back to God again.
Takeaways
Seeking God is the pathway to freedom.
Fear is a form of bondage, but Jesus offers deliverance.
Naming your fear and bringing it to God destroys pride and opens your heart to His help.
God isn’t asking for perfection—He’s looking for honesty: “Lord, here’s where I need You.”
